Punto Banco is a variation of baccarat that is almost identical to traditional baccarat; when playing online, it is essentially just a different name for the same game. Traditionally, Punto Banco requires the banker to deal the cards, whereas in baccarat, dealing alternates between the banker and the players. Since it is impossible for players to deal the cards when playing online, all online baccarat games essentially follow this rule of Punto Banco.
